Garden Majlis

A quiet pavilion of stone, light and gathering
A contemporary villa extension shaped to belong to its landscape, not dominate it.Framed by glass, stone and surrounding greenery, the pavilion dissolves into the garden by day and glows quietly within it at night.
Recently completed in Dubai, the Majlis project by Palazzo Morelli represents a contemporary interpretation of one of the most symbolic spaces within Middle Eastern culture: a place dedicated to hospitality, gathering and conversation.

The sculptural identity of the façade
One of the defining elements of the project is the façade, entirely framed in Verde Alpi marble. The strong natural veining and deep tones of the stone give the architecture a monolithic and sculptural identity, while integrated lighting emphasizes the geometry of the volume and enhances its visual presence during the evening hours.

The project was conceived as a refined architectural volume where interior and exterior spaces merge seamlessly through transparency, material continuity and carefully balanced proportions.
The design approach focused on creating an environment that combines understated luxury with warmth and functionality, whilst preserving the cultural essence of the Majlis and translating it into a contemporary architectural language.
Inside, the material palette was selected to create continuity between surfaces, furnishings and architectural details. The kitchen island, realized with marble-clad top and sides, becomes a central focal point within the space, reinforcing the dialogue between natural materials and bespoke craftsmanship.
Large sliding glass surfaces dissolve the boundaries between indoor and outdoor living, allowing natural light and landscape elements to become part of the architectural experience. The result is an atmosphere that feels intimate yet open, sophisticated yet deeply connected to contemporary living.

Throughout the entire process, Palazzo Morelli managed the project through a coordinated approach involving material research, executive development, production supervision and final installation. Every phase was carefully controlled to ensure precision, consistency and the highest level of craftsmanship.
Architectural Consultancy & Project Management were carried out by Zero2cento Studio, ensuring coordination and continuity throughout the project process.
